Jake Webster

Jake is a former NRL player who started his career at the Melbourne Storm, making a name for himself in the Storm's feeder side, the North Devils, before making 49 appearwances for the first team.

After a season with the Gold Coast Titans in their inaugural year, he came over to these shores to sign for Hull KR in 2008. He went on to make 88 appearances for the Robins in Super League, scoring 32 times.

Jake is an International with New Zealand and was part of their 2005 Tri-Nations winning side. He has scored five tries in eight appearances for the Kiwis.

Webster scored four tries in seven appearances for the Tigers in his debut season, before suffering a serious knee injury against his former side Rovers in March, which ruled him out of the rest of the season.

He made up for lost time though last year, and avoided serious injury throughout. Cas fans were finally shown what he could do, which included a last minute try in the defeat of Salford in June.
