Jordan Tansey

Jordan started his career with the Leeds Rhinos, making his first team debut against the Catalans in 2006, scoring a try in the game to make it a debut to remember. The following year saw Jordan establish himself as a first team regular for the Rhinos, capping a brilliant season with the award of Yorkshire Evening Post Shooting Star of the year. The same season saw Jordan snatch a dramatic Millennium Magic win against the Bradford Bulls with a controversial last-minute try for the Rhinos.

In 2008, at the age of just 22, the Leeds-born Utility back agreed a two-year deal with NRL side Sydney Roosters. Jordan was only expected to stand as cover for first choice full back Anthony Minichiello, but after the Australian picked up an injury, he was given his opportunity.

Jordan took his chance, making seven appearances for the Roosters before returning to his homeland to join Hull FC. Jordan instantly became one of the Black and Whites key players. 2010 saw him make 25 appearances for Hull as they reached the end of season play offs.
Just days before the 2011 season his contract with Hull was terminated for disciplinary reasons. After spending a few weeks with Championship side Dewsbury Rams, Jordan returned to Super League with Welsh side Crusaders. He was a regular in their 2011 campaign making 18 appearances, scoring 5 tries in the process. Jordan left the Crusaders after they pulled out of Super League for the 2012 season.

Jordan had a brief spell for the York City Knights in the Championship, but switched to the Tigers ahead of the 2013 season, where he went on to score seven tries in 26 appearances after establishing himself as first choice full-back. He lost that slot in 2014, and will be keen to force his way back into the first XIII this time around.
